BARRY FITZGERALD

Barry was born in Greenwich, London, and has been taking photographs, since he was a young child.

As a realist photographer he makes minimal use of software for most of his Work. He feels a well-taken photograph should not need it, and that modern photography has become too reliant on gimmicks.

Using film and digital photography, Barry specialises in black and white, but is equally happy working in colour.

Barry has had a number of exhibitions, most recently at the Quay arts centre in Newport, Isle Of Wight. He has also provided photographs to a number of major publishers.
